I was looking at the cast and I noticed that there are two actresses who still don't have role yet, Lauren and Natalie. And I saw a poster once that also featured Gilda and Trixie in it. So is it possible that Gilda and Trixie could be in the film?
Do not believe what the original poster showed. Since then, a lot of characters that were on that poster have been cut out of the story since then. As for who Lauren and Natalie play, those are characters we cannot confirm right now as they are incredibly huge spoilers.
We’ll reveal them when we want to reveal them.
Hello again guys! Eric here with an announcement for help! Currently, we are looking for people to help us create the animation puppets that our animators are going to use for the Animation process for Journey of the Spark. The picture above is a diagram showing off the Animation Puppet for Twilight Sparkle, which was created specifically for the film by Assistant Director (and former Art Director) Jan Engel.
There are some very specific qualifications we are looking for with this particular position. Here are some of the following:
- Whomever applies for this position must have experience working with animation rigs/builds in Adobe Flash.
- We specifically work in Adobe Flash CS4-6. So please make sure that if you are to apply for this position, you work within these versions of the program.
- Considering that one of our builds is already finished, there are specific methods we have for organizing the multiple layers found within the builds. So if you are accepted for the position, your work on the character builds will be supervised by Mr. Engel. So please be open to Constructive Criticism.

Have ever thought about creating a love interest for Twilight?
OOOH I SHIP HER WITH MAH OC!! In all seriousness though, I might’ve done that at least once or twice in side projects or fanfics, but never for an actual project that I wanted to take seriously.
Adding love interests to things was something I feel that Lauren never really put at the forefront of the series when she started coming up with it. It was a trope commonly found in the previous generations of My Little Pony. And for the sake of the story in Journey of the Spark, we wanted to make sure that the inner conflict that Twilight has to face was the heart of the story.

What kind of creatures are they in Everfree Forest?
Sadly the Everfree Forest won’t really be present in the film that much beyond showing off where Zecora resides. There will be some new and unique creatures in the film though.
