Hey guys! Eric here from Journey of the Spark. So you may notice that the Ask box disappears every so often or so. Well that’s because of a few reasons. Due to the overwhelming popularity that Journey of the Spark has been receiving, I only open the Ask box for Q&A each weekend from Friday til’ Sunday.
So for anyone wanting to ask questions about the film, here are a few policies I hope you guys will respect, any and all comments that don’t follow these guidelines will be ignored:
- Please refrain from asking spoiler-related questions. I WILL delete these types of questions.
- Do not ask if certain characters will be in the film. Who we have in the film is who we have in the film.
- Do not suggest or request things to be put into the film. Those questions will also be deleted immediately. We’re making this movie for free, so there’s no need to demand so many things from us.
- If your question does not answered or gets thrown away, it is more than likely a question that I have already answered. I get quite a few questions asked each weekend, so you’re bound to find the answer that way.
That should pretty much cover it! Happy Question Asking!

Do you share assets/team members with Double Rainboom or any other similarly big projects?
Yes actually. A few artists from Double Rainboom are on the team for Journey of the Spark. Not many animators, but quite a few talented artists!
and all of this is non-profit?!
Yup! I care not about making money off of the franchise with this project. I’m doing this because I legitimately care about quality storytelling in animated films and I want that to reflect in the story for Journey of the Spark

2 years is a long time. How do you plan to keep this project stable and efficient should any changes in the fandom/show occur?
Here’s the thing. I’m not making this movie for the fandom. I’m making this movie simply because I’m a filmmaker and that I wanna tell a good story. If we were to keep changing the story and the project just to keep up with the continuity of the show, then the film would never get made.
The film itself is not part of the canon, therefore we don’t really feel its necessary to worry about the canon after Season 2.

Will you put on a full orchestra to do the score for the film?
Actually, believe it or not, Journey of the Spark will feature an orchestral score performed by a 40-piece orchestra on the level of how a normal score would be for an episode of Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs.
