We’ve got another big announcement everypony! We’ve finally acquired a songwriter to help bring the musical aspect of Journey of the Spark to life. So please say hello to Brony musician Forest Rain!
Forest has been seen in the community making covers as well as producing his own original songs including the hit single “Hay Ms. Derpy” and was one of the main contributors to The Massive Smile Project in which he produced and created. In Journey of the Spark, Forest will be using his talents to write the original songs found within the film’s soundtrack.
We’re incredibly ecstatic to have him on board for the project and he is too! Look forward to the many amazing songs we’re collaborating on and look forward to a possible demo release!
Here's a question, how big of a role is Princess Luna going to get?
Luna plays an incredibly vital role in the film. After all, she’s one of the major characters that goes along the journey with the rest of the Mane 6 and Spike.
I can’t reveal a whole about what she’ll do in the film. But Luna’s involvement in the story leads to a lot of the film’s drama and heart.
With the advent of many different pony conventions popping up all over the place, me and the team behind Journey of the Spark have been making it our mission to bring the film to as many pony conventions as possible sometime in the near future. But we wanna know your guys’ opinion! What cons do you want Journey of the Spark to appear at the most next year in 2013?
Which conventions do you want to see the Cast and Crew for the film host Panels and Q&A’s for? Let us know! Reblog this entry and add which Convention you want us to appear at and why!
One of the most notable things that I’m trying to accomplish with Journey of the Spark is that I’m attempting to aim for an audience that doesn’t necessarily involve the Bronies: a general audience.
Now I know what a majority of you are thinking: Why bother making a two hour animated film based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic if you’re not going to target the show’s widest audience? The answer to that question is not as simple as I would like it to be.
