It is fairly obvious that the plot will revolve around the Mane 6, but you also mention Celestia and Spike as characters. Do they play a large role too? Or are they more to the side of comic relief and minor appearances?
There’s quite a few characters that actually play a large role in the film. However, I can’t say how though. The Mane 6 are ultimately the big focus of the film though since the story does revolve around them trying to find Twilight.
Big news everyone. It was just confirmed last night that I will be appearing on “Stay Brony, My Friends” with DustyKat on Everfree Radio on Monday, August 20th at 5PM PDT. I’m going to be interviewed and “Journey of the Spark” is at full center. I cannot tell you guys how ecstatic I am to appearing on the show. What inspired the name of the movie, Journey of the Spark?
The name of the film refers to multiple different things in the film. The spark refers to the immortal connection founded by Twilight’s friendship with the girls and is even a callback to “Friendship is Magic (Part 2)”
The journey aspect of the title represents the main idea behind the story. The whole point of the film is that each of the characters are trying to find their way in life through the journey, both metaphorically and physically. Its a way for the characters to learn to face their inner demons and learn more about themselves than they even knew.
The whole message behind the film is that life in itself is one whole journey. That you’ll always lose yourself along the way. But just because one adventure has ended, doesn’t mean another one can’t begin.
