It was originally supposed to! Celestia was going to narrate a storybook-like opening that depicted the major events of Season 1 and 2 leading into Journey of the Spark’s story.
Sadly this was cut from the script as well.
It came from many places other than the original show itself. The biggest inspirations came from classic animated films such as the works of Don Bluth and Disney.
But we also wanted to make something on the level of classic 80’s fantasy films such as Willow and The Dark Crystal.
Because today seems like the perfect time to do so, feel free to send us some questions! We’ll try to answer as many as possible!
We’re hoping with the products we’re creating now that we’ll be able to solidify our stance as an animation studio. We have a lot of stuff in development right now that we’d love to produce as an official production studio sometime down the line.
But most importantly, we hope to make products that people are happy with.
