i'm new to the movie and I just want to know what genre is it, you know like action, adventure, tragedy, comedy etc
Journey of the Spark is a multi-genre film as it technically falls into multiple categories. It has moments of humor and comedy but mostly revolves around Drama/Fantasy/Adventure and happens to be a Musical.
So that would make it a Fantasy/Adventure/Dramedy/Musical… wow I just realized how complicated that sounds XD

so cadence and shining armor are in it, right?
Not anymore. They are mentioned in the film, but they were inevitably written out of the film.
Yes I am opening commissions and I am raising my prices- this is because i am about to get into another semester of school and will be busier so i will have less time to work on them and to balance this out i need to raise my prices. right now these are the prices and I hope these are alright.
I am trying to get to bronycon this year and I need money to get there! so my goal is $500usd and that will cover pretty much everything from prints to food to other expenses. At bronycon I will be selling prints off my person (hopefully also with a friend if he has space on his table) and also will be giving away free sketches to people who meet with me. Also I am going to be on a panel (if it gets accepted- I’ll keep yall updated on it)
if you do not message me via paypal/email/tumblr I will assume you are donating so please let me know if you are donating or buying a commission.
This time I am going to open up and ask for donations
my paypal is charofeedsthekitty@gmail.com
Hey guys, my good friend Chat (Art Director for Journey of the Spark) is opening up commissions to raise funds so that she can get to BronyCon. So help her out! Chat has a lot of great things in store for the con, including but not limited to an appearance with me and the rest of the film crew along with some BronyCon exclusive prints!
Hello, I'm Jerry Fields. This paragraph will include my question due to Tumblr word restrictions, so I apologize. The reason I had no words is because the concept didn't really look all that good. Fast forwarding to the animation test, I'm wanting to know if the animation will be done that way or more show-accurate. The only other question I have, is will you allow critics and reviewers to examine the film upon release? And what will be the limitations by you? Signed, ~The MLP Content Reviewer
I have no intentions of making the film’s animation 100% show-accurate. We’re simple fan-animators. We want the animation to look as good as we can make it, but asking us for show-accurate animation is way too high of an expectation. I have plans to send out copies of the film to press sites for review, but I myself won’t really be paying attention too much to every critique that’s released.
Personally, I am not interested nor do I feel comfortable with people interpreting the works that I create based on the person who makes it. I’d rather just have people enjoy the film based on its own merits and whether or not they like it. Its not that I won’t take criticism as I plan on looking at the opinions that are constructive, but I’d rather not be pulled into what people have to say about the film individually. I’d rather just look at the big picture and identify if I was successful or not. Because in the end, not everyone is going to understand the intentions I have with this film. So I think I’m going to stay out of the discussion when the movie is released.

so, is the mother daughter relationship between Twilight and Celestia going to be a really major part of the flim. Also, how come Celestia is your favorite character, she's best pony to me too but just for the sake of asking
The relationship between Twilight and Celestia is definitely heightened in the new draft and its hinted at a lot more. Mostly just because I feel that there is something there between the both of them than just Teacher and Student. That was always the impression that I got and to me, its the relationship that the two share that really sells the story of the movie.
As to why Celestia is my favorite character, well its simply because she very much reflects who I am. Even though it isn’t shown, its implied that Celestia has lived over a millennium with a mistake that she caused and she set into motion the events that ultimately lead to her redemption. Imagine living so many years alone, always thinking of the one mistake that put you in that situation. You try living out life to the fullest, but you can’t help but remember. To me, Twilight coming into Celestia’s life is the thing that helped change her. She fights for her subjects even if she’s not always successful. She cares deeply for the people that she loves and she only wishes to make things better for everyone around her. She’s firm, but forgiving. Even towards the people who ultimately turned against her.
Celestia immediately became one of my favorites because much like her, I really only want to help others even if they don’t always want my advice or help. I care deeply for many people despite the flaws they might possess and I am willing to fight for what I believe is right, even if I don’t always win. That and I’m extremely forgiving. I normally never hold a grudge and if I do, I eventually get over it and move on.
