This is the first I’ve ever heard of this. If that’s the case, then no. There’s no relation. The title of the movie is pure coincidence I guess.

This will be the last time I answer this but yes, Spike’s role is still big in the film and has not changed from the original. In fact in some cases, its been expanded!

I’m fairly good at balancing out what needs to be a priority and what doesn’t. This new animated series is being worked on in my spare time away from Journey of the Spark. But the movie has my full attention besides my studies at school.

If people are fearing that I’m losing inspiration for the movie, then I’m glad to say that you can dispel those rumors and fears. The movie isn’t going away and given the progress that we’re making, I’m more inspired than ever. But I also want to think about my team’s future as a studio.

By the time that we start full Pre-Production for the new series, Journey of the Spark will already be way into production for animation, music, and visual effects.

Trust me, we’ve got everything planned out.
