Just in time for the Season 4 Premiere, I’ll be making an appearance on a livestream event called Brony Bash! On the stream, I’ll be talking about Journey of the Spark and joining a few other people to celebrate the premiere of a brand new season for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic!
The stream will be taking place on Saturday, November 23rd starting at 12PM Central time. Check out the link above for the stream link as well as the other special guests who will be joining us for the stream!
Rainbow Pony!!! I really am making a lot of these! Well, this one was easy. Thanks to the JOTS team’s old puppets, I didn’t have to make any mane parts for this one. I fix the eyes on this thanks to a friend who notice they were a bit far apart. I hope they look better.
Hope you guys like some rainbooms because here comes our Rainbow Dash puppet!
Fluttershy! she’s cute! o3o (don’t tell Sweety Peach I said that) So this is what the puppet looks like, tell me what you guys think! c:
Here’s another animation puppet! This time here’s the flash rig we made for Fluttershy that’ll be used in the movie!

Will dark themes like death be in the movie ?
Because the idea behind the movie was based around my grandmother’s death back a few years ago, I wrote the basis of the story to sort of help cope with the feelings I was experiencing at that time.
I can’t reveal anything concerning how this plays out for Journey, but that was sort of the core element of how the story got its emotional center. Its heavy stuff, but we wanted to treat themes like that as respectfully as we could as we knew children would be watching this.
The best way to really describe things is that Twilight’s experiences in the movie very much reflect how I felt shortly after my grandmother died. It really hits home with me when I read the ending to the new draft because its one of the most emotionally real and beautiful things we’ve ever written.
