Taking some time today to answer a few questions from my inbox. So there might be a bit of an influx of posts coming from me.
Thanks!

This will be one of the few questions I answer during our current hiatus, but initially, the tone and overall story behind the movie is not changing. However, many things needed to be cut because at the end of the day when looking at it, it became too long and too overstuffed with content.
We felt that the movie should primarily only focus on what the main driving point of the story is. So anything in the movie that doesn’t relate to the main point (be it characters or subplots) were removed to tighten the story and reduce the length of the movie to make it feel more compact.
Because of that, multiple sections needed to be re-written or axed completely to accompany the changes being made. Many of them work far better in this new draft than they did originally and I feel like the story now works on a much greater and intensive level than before. It was also just a great opportunity for us to fix the problems that people had with the Concept Trailer, which meant toning down a bit of the drama so that it doesn’t feel as melodramatic but the scale and scope of the adventure is still there.
So essentially, it equates to the same story, but with a much needed coat of paint.
Not necessarily. I’m answering a few questions here and there, but I won’t be posting anything major on the blog until we’re ready to reveal things. A lot’s going on right now, so just sit tight for just a little while longer.
Hey, guys! You ever wanted to see the men and women performing the score to “Journey of the Spark” in action? Tonight’s your chance! The Ithaca College Symphony Orchestra will be streaming its first concert of the season tonight! The concert begins at 8:15 EST, 5:15 PST.
Look for me! I’m in the group this year. I’ll be behind the marimba during the first half and the xylophone during the second half (And if you don’t know what either of those are, that’s why God invented Google.)
I hope to see you all there, and if you can’t, it should be up in a few days.
To everyone wanting to know what the orchestra performing the score for Journey of the Spark can really do, check this out!
