Making any film is a test of patience, endurance, and passion. Things can and will go wrong. But I love what we’re creating and with all the new developments that get made, I just think that people are gonna love what we’re doing.

Seeing that you're trying to make sense of Season 2 and 3 together for the film now, I have to beg the question I'm worried of most. Since Discord is the villain in this and I was beyond pleased to see him as his dark self, am I now going to have to see him as "good" at some point in this film? If so I hope its done in a way that's not over the top because subtlety is everything for me on this one.

Nothing will change concerning Discord’s intent in the film. While we’re hoping to soften his malicious edge, he’ll still be evil within this movie’s story. So I don’t think you’ll have anything to worry about.

No. We don’t hire very many animators because very few apply. We try to have quality standards, but we’re willing to allow newer animators improve their skills and show off their chops to us by working on the movie and learning from our other animators.
