The thing that excites me and the team about making this movie is that we want to try and break new ground. Our focus for the film is not making the animation “studio quality” animation. Making a statement like that is just foolish.

Rather, we want to focus on making sure the animation and the overall artistic qualities of the film help serve and even improve the story we’re aiming to tell. Which is rare for animation projects in the pony community because so many aim to make something on par with the show. With us, we just aim to make a good product.

But with that said, making the first fan-created feature-length film based on the series is also really exciting in itself. We get to do something on a much greater scale, but we also get to play around with more cinematic and animation techniques.

Since we’ve picked up production again and the con season for us has reached its end, you would start getting to work once we get your NDA settled and we’ve added you to the Skype chats we use for the production.

No. Instead of jumping to the conclusion of asking us to replace the actress with someone better, give the current actress constructive criticism on how she can improve. Simply saying that she stinks and that the issue needs to be fixed doesn’t equate to feedback that is constructive.
