Two things: Firstly, why the delay to 2015 and Secondly how will you make sure what goes on in the film stays relevant until then? After all the show is constantly evolving with each new season.
1: To make it simple: We just don’t have as many people as we need yet. While we have a pretty big team already, it is just not quite enough in many situations. We are obviously working on changing that, but such things take time. We hope you understand.
2: We explained already that our movie is not neccesarily canon. We have an idea as to when it is supposed to be set, but we are ignoring what’s happening afterwards, because if we wouldn’t do that, we would have to restrict ourselves a lot with the story.
But those things where already valid before the delay.

Forgive me for saying what's on my mind about the delay of "Journey of the Spark", but I'm very disappointed.
I can assure you that we don’t make those kind of decisions because we *want* to do so. The possibility of us releasing the thing in 2014, while maintaining the quality we want to archieve, just seems very unlikely at the moment.
The question is; Would you prefer us to be honest or do you want us to give you false hopes?
That’s right everyone. As of March 10, 2013, the decision was made by the team and I to delay Journey of the Spark’s tentative release date to the Summer of 2015 instead of the Holiday season of 2014.
There were various reasons for the delay. The team and I have been taking time to think about how we would like to go about structuring its further development. While it is disheartening to see the film get delayed, we feel its for the better of the production.
Despite the delay, the team and I will continue our plans to promote the film at PON3Con and BronyCon later this summer. We look forward to sharing more developments of the project with all of you this Summer and we hope that you will continue to follow the film’s progress. Thank you!
