Aren't you worried that people are going to criticize this movie just for the fact it has ponies in it?
No. Haters Gonna Hate. For every hater, there is at least 3x the amount of people who will support your work and judging from how many people are loving the project so far and are looking forward to seeing it through to the end, I’m not worried about the haters who will hate the film simply because it has ponies in it.
Because that shows just how ignorant and judgmental those people can and will be. But hey, that’s life man. You’re always gonna get people like that.

Since you're into dark animated films for kids, have you've seen Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole?. If you have not then I highly recommend it. It kicks ass.
I actually have seen that movie actually! I enjoyed it! Amazing film on a visceral level. Beautiful visuals and decent characters too =D
sooo, is journey of the spark mostly features sad scenes?
There a ton of emotional scenes in Journey of the Spark. But my goal is to make sure people feel every emotion I can. So there will be moments where you will laugh, cry, or sit on the edge of your seat.

Will this fan film be released later on DVD or on YouTube?
Internet release comes first. Its super important to get the film out to the public via sites such as YouTube as soon as possible. Because of the implications of copyright, a DVD release may or may not happen.
(NEW EPISODE SPOILER!) I'm not sure if you've seen it yet, but timberwolves! I wont go into details, but they are in the new episode, they look too CGish in my opinion, and I prefer the concept art you have for your movie. My question is something along the lines of, what is your response to the timberwolves in the new episode, and are you going to change what you have at all?
Personally, it was really nice to see the Timberwolves back. But most of us weren’t particularly HUGE fans of the way they were animated. So if any of you are wondering what’s gonna happen with the way the Timberwolves will be animated in the film, don’t worry. They’ll be done with Flash as well.
Nothing against CGI, but I want everything to feel authentic and I want to limit the use of computer animation to visual effects and not character animation for Journey of the Spark. I’ll only use that method if the animation for them becomes too complicated to do with puppets in Adobe Flash.
