No. Because My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a copyrighted property, getting funding used towards the film would go against Hasbro’s copyright. That is why most fan-projects in the community (minus the Brony documentary) strive to be non-profit.

By setting up a kickstarter for the film, that would lead you towards a Cease and Desist from Hasbro’s legal department.

Expect a Teaser Trailer for Journey of the Spark during the Summer in 2013. If you’re planning on going out to PoN3Con in Nebraska from May 10th-12th, you’ll get to see it screened live before it hits the Internet.

Probably not. The earliest I can see this coming out depending on whether or not we can get the amount of people we need is Summer 2014.

No I haven’t actually. Which is surprising coming from me! But I pretty much know the entire gist of what the movie’s about. Though I’ve always wanted to see The Last Unicorn mainly because I have an obsession with stories that revolve around a character (be they human or not) being changed or transformed into something else.

Its on my “To-Watch” list definitely. I need to give it a watch sometime as I know that the film has a strong cult-following.
