Very much so! The movie is inspired greatly by animated films that I grew up with. I’m more so a fan of the Disney films that were made when Walt was still alive compared to the films of the 90’s Renaissance.

I appreciate their darker tones and their sense of emotional storytelling more than I do the films that have come out recently. So Journey of the Spark follows more in the footsteps of something like Fantasia or Pinocchio rather than a movie like Beauty and the Beast or The Lion King.
