Well considering the fact that Journey of the Spark is a 2D-Animated film compared to Pixar’s 3D Animated films, in terms of look I would definitely have to say no.

In terms of tone, I think its just really up to interpretation. I use to pitch Journey of the Spark as the Toy Story 3 of the pony universe, but even that description I think isn’t really doing Journey any justice.
