No. There will be no sequel produced for Journey of the Spark. Mostly because I do not believe there should be a sequel for a story unless you’ve set it up in a way to where it can work and you can keep the story going.

But very much like Spielberg felt there should never be a sequel to ET, I feel the same way about Journey of the Spark. The film was always meant to end with a particular ending in mind. If people want to expand upon the story with their own fan-works, then I’d love to see that personally.
