Celestial Spark Studios @ BronyCon 2014

As we reach the end of May, the Summer Season slowly approaches. As we mentioned in our last update video, we’ve got a lot planned for the Summer Convention Season and we’re very excited to share with you our plans. But more importantly, we’re extremely excited for BronyCon! Check out the break below to find out what we’re planning on doing this Summer for Journey of the Spark.

Journey of the Spark - BronyCon 2014 Panel:

As our first update, it has officially been confirmed that we will be presenting at this year’s BronyCon. Sadly, this year’s panel will not be livestreamed. However, it WILL be recorded and we will be sharing it with all of you later on after the convention is over. On top of this, we have officially selected the final panelist roster for this year’s presentation.

The final roster includes:

  • Emma Ridenour (Writer/Director)
  • Jonathan Sirois (Executive Producer, Co-Writer)
  • Charito Domingo (Art Director)
  • Erick Osborne (Animation Director)
  • Sheila M. Gagne (Voice of Spike)
  • Eric Schneider (Co-Writer, Film Editor)

Naturally, as stated in the last update video, we will be showing the first few minutes of the movie to con attendees. Many of our fans online were concerned about whether or not this footage would make it online due to us saying that our footage would become con-exclusive.

I’m here to dispel some of those fears by announcing that we WILL be releasing some of that material online. I repeat, we WILL be releasing some of the footage from the movie. It will be embargoed until after the convention is finished, but it will eventually find its way online!

Introducing: Journey of the Spark @ BronyCon 2014!

In addition to the panel we’re hosting at the convention, the producers and I behind Journey of the Spark are also planning on covering our experiences during the con itself. We’ll be recording shout outs from the cast and crew, fan-reactions, and other tidbits from the convention itself. Once we’ve edited everything together, we’ll be releasing the video online for fans to see!
