Rainbow Pony!!! I really am making a lot of these! Well, this one was easy. Thanks to the JOTS team’s old puppets, I didn’t have to make any mane parts for this one. I fix the eyes on this thanks to a friend who notice they were a bit far apart. I hope they look better.
Hope you guys like some rainbooms because here comes our Rainbow Dash puppet!
So I’m in a progress of making a Rarity puppet. I’d thought I’d share with you. This is a puppet for MLP: Journey of the Spark and I’d like to thank the animation team for helping me make this. c:
Erick Osborne, Animation Director on Journey of the Spark, just recently posted an update showing off one of the animation puppets from the movie. Here’s a look at the Rarity puppet! More to come soon!
Hello again guys! Eric here with an announcement for help! Currently, we are looking for people to help us create the animation puppets that our animators are going to use for the Animation process for Journey of the Spark. The picture above is a diagram showing off the Animation Puppet for Twilight Sparkle, which was created specifically for the film by Assistant Director (and former Art Director) Jan Engel.
There are some very specific qualifications we are looking for with this particular position. Here are some of the following:
- Whomever applies for this position must have experience working with animation rigs/builds in Adobe Flash.
- We specifically work in Adobe Flash CS4-6. So please make sure that if you are to apply for this position, you work within these versions of the program.
- Considering that one of our builds is already finished, there are specific methods we have for organizing the multiple layers found within the builds. So if you are accepted for the position, your work on the character builds will be supervised by Mr. Engel. So please be open to Constructive Criticism.
To apply as an Animation Puppet Builder, please send us some samples of your work to officialsparkmovie@gmail.com. Please remember to include your Name, your Skype account, E-Mail, and other forms of contact so that we can get back to you.
Thanks again guys! Stay tuned! More job positions will be opening up very soon!
