Hey Guys, Eric here with another update and this one is huge!
Next weekend, Voice Director David J.G. Doyle will be heading out to Melbourne for Australia’s Ponycon AU to talk about Journey of the Spark! Our friends from Ponyville Live will be recording the panel so that you can check it out for yourself!
Another piece of news is that as of tonight, I am officially closing down the application sheet for the Journey of the Spark production team. We have officially reached a point in the production where we no longer need additional crew members on board. For those who wished to apply but did not get a chance to, we apologize for the inconvenience and we hope that you might be able to join us in the future for our next project!
On the other side of things, we’re now starting work on finally getting an official website created! More updates on this will be coming at a later date, but we’ll let you guys know when we have some sort of prototype up and running. Thanks so much everyone
Hey guys, Eric here with a brand new update! I’m just gonna list some new things that have been going on lately so you guys know what’s been happening with the movie and the production blog!
- New F.A.Q. Updates - All information concerning where the movie fits into canon as well as the legal issues with Hasbro have been updated on the F.A.Q. page. If you have ANY questions, please consult the F.A.Q. page first before putting a question in the Ask Box.
- Application Form Update - Several positions have been removed from the application form as we no longer have a need for a few of them! However, you can go look at the application sheet and see what positions are still available! We’re getting along further and further into the production, so see what’s available!
- Cast and Crew Update - Several updates have been made to match the current amount of members on the team for Journey of the Spark. If you guys go and look, there’s a new character revealed on there along with some new names!
Just as I promised guys, I have created a master post detailing tons of new development/production details that have taken place since our hiatus. There’s a lot of stuff to cover, so for all of you wanting to know what’s been going on with the movie, including what you guys will be seeing on the blog soon, then feel free to check out all the news after the break. A vlog will be coming out soon on the YouTube channel but for now, here is the full text version of the updates.

So if you’re gonna be in Omaha, Nebraska for the convention, stop by our panel to get an inside look at some brand new material from the film.
If you’re not able to make it, don’t worry! I will be recording the panel through my video camera and the entire thing will be posted in glorious HD when I return.
For a full list of details of some of the panels that me and some of my Crew Members will be hosting at PON3, here’s a short list:

So in case a few of you might’ve missed it, I’ve got a few interviews concerning the film coming up fairly soon. Starting next month, I’m getting interviewed by two relatively big names in the community. Check out the dates below:
September 3rd, 2012: Stay Brony, My Friends w/ DustyKatt (5:00PM PST)
September 29th, 2012: Bronyville (12:00PM PST)
So if you guys have the time to, stop by on both of those! I’ll be there to give some informative insight on Journey of the Spark, both on its production history as well as my overall goal with the project.
See ya’ll then!
